Sense Perfume's guides are written to help you choose a gift or a fragrance, not to sell you the most expensive option. Every guide names its writer, dates its facts, links the outside sources it relies on and says when AI helped with the draft.
Who writes our guides?
Our guides are written by Suraj Verma, founder of Sense Perfume in Indore. His name appears at the top of every guide, with a link to our About page, and he signs off each guide before it goes live.
Where do the facts come from?
Product details, notes, prices, delivery times and return terms come from our own product, delivery and returns pages, and each guide shows the date we checked them. Facts from outside Sense, such as festival dates, tax rules, safety advice and market figures, come from named public sources that we link in the text and list at the end of the guide.
- Tax points come from the Income Tax Department and recognised professional summaries, and are general information rather than tax advice. Confirm your own position with a chartered accountant.
- Safety points, such as keeping perfume away from young children, come from bodies such as US Poison Control.
- When we compare other brands or gift services, we report only what their public pages say on the date we checked, and we are not paid by them.
Do you use AI to write guides?
Some guides are drafted with AI assistance. A person then checks every product fact against our own pages and every outside fact against its source before the guide goes live, and the guide says so in its closing note.
What does 'inspired by' mean on our pages?
Many Sense perfumes are inspired by well-known fragrances. We name the inspiration so you can judge the style before you buy. Sense is not affiliated with those brands, and their names belong to their owners.
How do you keep guides up to date and fix mistakes?
Time-bound details such as order-by dates, prices and tax limits are checked again whenever a guide is updated, and the date at the top of the guide changes when we do. If you spot an error, tell us through our contact page and we will correct it and update the date.
